I've experiened the same issue with Hardy (freshly installed), Feisty and Hardy (upgraded from Feisty)
Has anybody ever been able to open the network stream with a programme that istn't Kaffeine?
With every other player it is simply impossible to open the stream (I've tried vlc, Winamp, Windows Media Player)
If I open the stream and the port via Firefox (192.168.1.4:2312) then i receive a file which increases continuously, but it has seemed impossible for me so far to open this file with any player.
All necessary plugins for media streams are installed, it works with kaffeine very fine but simply with no other player.
I've been trying to solve this problem for many month now and I 've simply found no solution @ all!
Trying to save a stream with kaffeine results in the error
Xine error Kaffeine Player
Requested resource does not exist (slave://192.168.1.4:2312#save:/home/tangarua/Desktop/bla)
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, thx in advance
Best Regards, Tangarua
