[Bug 293939] [NEW] Impossible to login in Kubuntu after Intrepid Update

After network update from 8.04 to Intrepid 8.10 with no update errors, the computer reboots and I'm presented with no login screen and with the following error:

"No greeter widget plugin loaded. Check your config file."

After Accepting the box, X closes and the system goes to the console.
