Sorry, but I understood that my posts in this bug-report is not for KnetworkManager. After Kubuntu I install fresh Ubuntu interpid 8.10 and the problem is the same. I config my network with "pppoeconfig" - like many times before - and many times I have NOT connection when I start ubuntu.
Then I  just restart network with commands "poff" ---> "pon dsl provider" and it works.
