Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase-plasma
Kubuntu 8.10 - Beta i386
When trying to add an non-KDE4 application icon either to the panel or
favorites via right clicking and selecting "Add to Panel" or "Add to
Favorites" the application icon breaks and won't launch.
When adding to the panel the system forgets to add the file base path to
the icon. Logging out and editing the plasma-appletsrc file and adding
in the file:///usr/share/applications/ path fixes the problem.
