[Bug 280089] [NEW] Dotted rectangle appears when clicked on "Select Item"

Public bug reported:

When the + symbol (Select Item) on icons are clicked to select the item,
a dotted rectangle appears around it's name which does not go away until
browsed to another folder/window is closed:
