sessionScripting is not yet implemented in the KDE 4 version of Konsole
and it's unlikely that this will get fixed for KDE 3, so I am closing as
won't fix.

The KDE bug you mentioned is indeed related, actually it is the very
same bug, and since KDE knows about it I am confident it gets fixed for
the reimplementation in KDE4 :)

Please reopen this report if the KDE 4 version of sendSession should also exhibit this behavior.
