Public bug reported:
An impression at the mouse cursor area remains in the snapshot in the
screenshots taken by ksnapshot.
See screenshot in attachment. See the small black blob..
To reporduce:
This indeed is a minor glitch.
Add ksnapshot to kmenu favorites. Make sure you have a white/bright background behind the kmenu area.
Now launch the application from kmenu favorites.
This may require launching a few number of times to reproduce this. For me, this happens every 2-5 times of program launch.
Possible reason:
The bouncing mouse cursor is the culprit. As the KMenu disappears, it leaves a black shadow which slowly disappears.. The bouncing cursor fails to disappear correctly which is captured in the snapshot.
I marked the binary package as kdebase-workspace as it seems more of a
kwin problem.
** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
