Which is a poor design IMO.  I googled "annoying popups kubuntu" and
came across this bug report.  It *is* annoying, and it *is* too much
like Window's annoying popups.  Can we alter the pop up so that it has a
close button on the popup?

Is there a way to stop the program running to start with?
