I have installed kde-l10n-ja and kde-i18n-ja packages. I can see in the
kopete.po file from this page http://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/stable-
kde4/team/ja/kdenetwork/ that all status strings (i.e. Online, Away,
Invisible, etc.) are translated. Or at least they seem to be as I can
see these entries in the po file:

msgid "Online"
msgstr "オンライン"

msgid "Away"
msgstr "不在"

msgid "Invisible"
msgstr "潜伏中"

msgid "Offline"
msgstr "オフライン"


Still the context menu shows these options in english only. See screenshot attached.

I have KDE 4.1.2 and Kopete 0.60.2 installed from latest Kubuntu
packages.

The current situation is far better than the original problem with
duplicate entries so I really don't mind having these options displayed
in English but I think this is not the intended behavior.
