Apart from that, i just tried to add a public GoogleCalendar (Remote File Resource) via HTTP to check if it could have to do something with SSL and self-signed certificates, but as HTTP-only shows the same symptoms, i doubt it.
Here's the URL i used: http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/austrian%40holiday.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
Can you reproduce that?
Another thing caught my eye: After i added the Holiday Calendar from
Google and the korganizer crash, i forgot to disable it again. I started
korganizer again and noticed, that the download process itself seemed to
have completed correctly (or at least the transfer). I'm able to see
events in the calendar that are from the public GoogleCalendar for sure.
Furthermore i installed a rather plain Kubuntu VMware machine just to make sure i'm not wasting anyones time (apparently nobody besides me has these kind of problems - this raises doubts :-( ). But i do have exactly the same symptoms on a freshly installed Kubuntu machine with nothing other than korganizer-3.5.10 and the GoogleCalendar...
Only differnce is: My machine is amd64, the VMware machine is i686.
