This bug us marked Kubuntu 8.10 beta. I just tried to reproduce this bug
on a fully up to date 8.10 install and was unable to do so. I added 10
new contacts consecutively without inducing a crash. Do you still
observe this crash with an up to date system?

Qt: 4.4.3
KDE: 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2)
Kontact: 1.3
