Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

I recently updated to kubuntu intrepid after running hardy with kde 3
and kde 4 combined. I had some old startup entries in the kde 4
autostart that became invalid after the upgrade since the bin path
changed from usr/lib/kde4/bin to /usr/bin (or something like that).

Upon login I recieved an error message saying that the application could
not be found, and when I clicked OK i got logged out. The next time I
logged in I got the same message (of course).

The solution was to not click OK before I had removed the entry in
system settings. As soon this was done I could click OK, get logged out
and log in once again. Not a big problem, but I assume that I'm not
supposed to be logged out just like that because of a rather minor
error.

I did not save any logs since I was rather busy at the moment, but I can
reproduce it if more information is needed.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
