This is a work around rather than a fix but it is possible to send input
to all tabs using only the keyboard (after the first setup).

Go to 'Edit' and right click on 'copy input to' you should have an option to configure shortcut. 
So for example I've set mine to 'meta + a'. 
This brings up the dialog to select tabs.
Use the tab key to move the focus to the select all button. 
Hit enter to select all then use tab to move focus to OK and hit enter.

I realise this is less than optimal but it's the nearest I can think of
to the functionality you describe
