[Bug 70240] Re: Kde error message on kubuntu: "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly"

I use Kubuntu Hardy, kde 3.5.9 and I had the same error message. I
looked deeper in my system and I discovered that there was no mount poin
'media/cdrom0' created yet. I used kde system settings -> advanced ->
disks and filesystems to remedy that and now works fine.
