Could the new systray applet be backported from KDE trunk to a usable
applet for Intrepid ?

Aaron Seigo does not plan on releasing the fixed applet before KDE
4.2...

This issue is for me the most visible and anoying bug of KDE4 on ubuntu.
I have to confess I have no idea on the state of the new systray applet
though.

What is your opinion, you KDE packagers ?
