[Bug 272774] [NEW] Desktop is too small after resolution change

Public bug reported:

I have changed the resolution using KRandRTray to a lower resoltion.
That worked fine but after setting the resolution back the desktop kept
small and was shown on the top left corner of the screen.

I found no way to change this so I restarted the X-Server hoping
thatthis new setting wasn't saved yet. That worked.

This problem seems trivial but it can be more that just confusing for
people whop have to chnge resoltion very often (for example for
beamers). Especially for business usage this is something really
essential, so I hope this will be fixed until Intrepid.
