So when adding a playlist to the currently playing list, the error
message of "some media cannot be loaded in the playlist" should be
something along the lines of "playlist is empty, no media added" ?

If so then a bug should be opened on bugs.kde.org and linked to here to
get it into the next version of Amarok.  Development for the 1.4.x
series has been discontinued apart from bugfixes, so this should be
targeted at Amarok 2.0, to be released soon (hopefully).
