Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase
System: Kubuntu 9.04 beta, 64bit, with latest updates, 4th April 2008.
How to create: right click on desktop, select "Add widgets..." then
select "Picture Frame" widget. The initial widget comes up with the a
corrupted background image to the text "Put your photo here or drop a
folder to start a slideshow". Attach screenshot of problem.
Picture Frame itself works fine one you give it a directory of images to
work with. But if you give it a directory that is a temporary mount
then next time you boot the Picture Frame widget correct displays the
"Put your photo here...." text but again the background is corrupted.
I've tried Kubuntu 9.04 beta out with NVidia and ATI graphics, with and
without desktop effects enable and it produces the corrupted image in
all of these instances.
** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
