[Bug 356910] [NEW] Adept manager doesn't search package when the length of the text <= 3 characters

Public bug reported:

In a Kubuntu 8.10 desktop:
1. Open adept manager in K-menu -> system -> adept manager
2. Type in at most 3 characters (e.g. 'vim')
It doesn't do anything but it is supposed to list packages containing e.g. 'vim'. That forced me to install 'vim' using other methods.
