[Bug 359378] [NEW] window resize actions in Konsole locks desktop (composite active)

An annoying bug in Konsole - with Deskstop Effects enabled in KDE any
window resize actions on the Konsole window (maximise, minimise, resize)
cause the entire desktop to lockup for up to 10 seconds.

Reproduce
1. Open Konsole
2. Ensure standard desktop effects are enabled
3. Attempt resize window with the mouse using the window border and the  max/min buttons

Bug
At 3, nothing happens for about 10 seconds. When the window is being maximised the window then carries out the action. When the window is being resized nothing happens. During the wait, the desktop is inactive.

Workaround:
Turn desktop effects off

To my knowledge this only affects Konsole.


Using konsole 4.2.2 (present in 4.1 onwards from memory)
