Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: plasma-widget-network-manager
Using the 9.04 RC, the new network management plasma applet won't
connect to wireless networks if the is an apostrophe in the SSID.
For example:
A network with SSID of "Vivo's Home" won't work, but "Vivo Home" will.
Also, everytime I click in the name of the network to connect, it will
start the process "networkmanagement_configshell" with 100% load and
keep it this way forever. After clicking multiple times to see if
something would happen, I noticed my computer almost hang. When I took a
look at the system monitor, there were about 20 of this process eating
my CPU.
The command is runs is:
networkmanagement_configshell --type 802-11-wireless --specific-args 'Vivo\'s Home' 1 0 332 create
Thanks.
