[Bug 366703] [NEW] kpackagekit fails to install kubuntu-restricted-extras

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

The very first thing I wanted to do after installing Kubuntu 9.04 was to
install the package kubuntu-restricted-extras. Unfortunately,
kpackagekit always exited instead of installing the package. I retried
on konsole and only see the following output:

KPackageKit(3785) KpkAddRm::~KpkAddRm: Saving filters settings

Fortunately, kpackagekit managed to install synaptic (which could
install kubuntu-restricted-extras withoug any problem).

Summary:
First impression of Kubuntu-9.04 -> unfinished, broken, buggy.
