Perhaps the 9.04 release notes should mention that Amarok will be
replaced with a version that has some nice improvements but also a
number of known regressions (and perhaps link to the PPA mentioned in
the previous comment, or to this bug)?

This way, at least folks know what to expect, and perhaps some
unpleasant surprises could be avoided. =)
