You have been subscribed to a public security bug:

Sometime i've got access to my workstation without supply username and password. I've not set any type of auto-login.
In this way any people could access to the system without authentication.
This happen under Kubuntu Jaunty 9.04 with KDE 4.2.4 (amd64).
