Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kubuntu-firefox-installer

In Kubuntu 9.10 amd64 I noticed KPackageKit wanting to update ruby which
I never installed. `aptitude why` indicates it's only there because of
kubuntu-firefox-installer. Without getting into a religious war ;-) ,
7 MB of yet another scripting language and libkorundum for an 85-line
script seems if not bloat, an opportunity for disk space reduction.

I guess a "fix" would be to port /usr/bin/kubuntu-firefox-installer to
Python, like the dozen or so other Qt/KDE scripted apps in /usr/bin in
my install.

Thanks for all you do.

** Affects: kubuntu-firefox-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
