[Bug 500415] [NEW] battery monitor widget shows no battery present

Public bug reported:
On startup the widget shows no battery is present very frequently. I can
verify through acpi that the battery is present and if I disconnect the
notebook the battery works fine. If i remove and add the widget again
the problem is fixed.
