[Bug 501629] [NEW] first login in kdm fails

Kubuntu version 10.04
kdebase-workspace 4:4.3.85-0ubuntu1
When kdm comes up and I enter my credentials and I press enter, the login screen is replaced by the KDE loading screen. This lasts very short (2 sec max) and then the KDM login screen is back again. Logging in the second time succeeds.

This happens every time I try to log in.

What I expect is that logging in succeeds the first time.
