Oka,

Sorry for the slow follow up. I've just had another look at this and I
still can't reproduce it. As you suggested I created a local folder and
copied a mail there. I then right click on the senders name and choose
add to addressbook.

At this point I get a pop-up dialog box with the text:
The email address <Somebody> was added to your addressbook; you can add more information to this entry by opening the addressbook.

Do you see this pop-up?
