Good day!

This problem is really caused by the incomplete update from update-
manager. This application ought to take care of the more complex parts
of getting old packages out and new packages in (especially those which
changed names). The conflict you are experiencing is only caused by the
incomplete update and can unfortunately not be resolved by us.

Assuming you didn't resolve the issue by now you might seek guidance in
the kubuntu forums or the kubuntu IRC channel.
