Thanks for the bug report, Jarno.  I happen to have seen a possible
cause of this bug in the source code today in the Amarok 2.x series.

Look at the ScanResultProcessor::addTrack at
http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/multimedia/amarok/src/collection/sqlcollection/ScanResultProcessor.cpp?view=markup

There's a line in there where it matches based on a white list of file
extensions.  I'm not sure how to fix it, but this bug should be
forwarded upstream.
