Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase
Since KDE 4.3 (whether in Jaunty with backports or in Karmic) Konqueror
no longer shows the green SSL icon (on the right side of the location
bar) on https sites - so you can not get any information at all about
the current connection security. Furthermore the complete Crypto
settings in "Settings -> Configure Konqueror ..." is missing (should be
an entry between Cookies and Browser Identification) - so no possibility
to remove a forever accepted certificate (except if you delete
~/.kde4/share/apps/config/ksslcertificatemanager) or to change any
TLS/SSL related settings.
Don't know if is it a upstream bug (didn't found a report there) because
the KDE 4.3 Live CD from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Medias/images/iso/ has
the same problems.
Even if the default browser in 9.10 will be Arora I think there will be
enough people still wanting to use Konqueror - so I find it a severe
regression.
** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
