I use KDE 4.3 beta 2 from kubuntu-ppa/backports.

Message:
"hello
hello"

kopete sends as:
"hello
hello"


Message:
"hello
<blank line>
hello"

kopete sends as:
"hellohello"


Message:
"hello
<blank line>
<blank line>
hello"

kopete sends as:
"hello
hello"


Message:
"hello
<blank line>
<blank line>
<blank line>
hello"

kopete sends as:
"hello
<blank line>
hello"


History saves with original messages. Other clients see this messages also as original messages.
