Happens to me on Kubuntu 9.04 Alpha5 (x64) as well when I forgot the 'e'
in "deb" in the URL. This is the output from adept:

exceptions from an event handler is not supported in Qt. You must
reimplement QApplication::notify() and catch all exceptions there.
