Public bug reported:
I am running konqueror 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1~intrepid1 using KDE 4.2 in
Intrepid, installed as described in http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.2
.
When opening certain sites, konqueror starts to generate lots of strange
traffic to certain Google hosts (eg. fg-in-f118.google.com).
For example:
1. Run netstat:
rainer at abc ~ $ sudo netstat -ap | grep google
(no output)
2. Start konqueror, open http://cpptruths.blogspot.com/2007/04/boost-
idioms.html
3. Run netstat again:
rainer at abc ~ $ sudo netstat -ap | grep google
tcp 0 0 mulek:35033 fg-in-f118.google.c:www TIME_WAIT -
tcp 0 0 mulek:35032 fg-in-f118.google.c:www TIME_WAIT -

4. Iftop and KDE's network activity plasmoid show lots of traffic until
