Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: konqueror
I am using kubuntu intrepid with KDE4.2 installed via backports. When I
load nytimes.com in konqueror, it begins making rapid requests to the
website which continue even after I close the window. I must then kill
konqueror from the command line to stop the traffic. Attached is a
tcpdump sample of a few rounds of this traffic.
I have not yet noticed this behavior with any other websites.
Version info:
konqueror:
Installed: 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1~intrepid2
Candidate: 4:4.2.1-0ubuntu1~intrepid2
