Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase
In Kubuntu Jaunty x64, the time remaining on a laptop's battery is
sometimes not displayed in the KDE4 PowerDevil plasma applet.
Additionally, the battery status is not updated. The status of the
battery will remain the same when the computer goes on battery power.
For example, it might say that the battery is at 78%, but still say
"Fully Charged" for status. The problem occurs when the computer was
put into suspend mode on AC power but resumed on battery power or when
the power cord is removed while the PC is running. The only time it
regularly works properly, displaying the correct battery status and time
remaining, when the PC is booted on battery power.
** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
