Thank you for your quick reply, unfortunately we are quite busy triaging
bugs and getting the upcoming release into shape, so it took us a time
to come back to you :)

We'll try to reproduce this again as soon as possible.
One thing I'd like to know in the mean time: is this issue still present in KDE 4.2.0? 

When I conducted the test, I used a french Kubuntu installation. Still
it would be weird if the issue was related to KStars being run within a
gnome session, since the console output indicates an internal KStars
error rather than with an external interaction (e.g. launching the
actual browser).
