Same problem here trying to run Skype in Ubuntu 8.10:

skype: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libQtNetwork.so.4: undefined
symbol: _ZN14QObjectPrivate15checkWindowRoleEv

Also with Last.fm:

/usr/lib/lastfm/last.fm: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libQtSql.so.4:
undefined symbol: _ZN14QObjectPrivate15checkWindowRoleEv

May the installation of Adobe Air have anything to do with it? It is the
last thing I have installed.
