[Bug 351222] [NEW] KDM cannot be started with the nvidia driver

I hope it is the correct package to report this bug.
I have a IBM T61 and a recent ubuntu jaunty.

I can start kdm with the 'nv' driver and I can run "startx" with the
'nvidia' driver. However, using the nvidia driver to start kdm does not
work. Syslog only tells me:

During startup I see that the Session several time returns to TTY2.
Finally, I can only see a blinking cursor but I cannot use the keyboard
anymore. Only the SHUTDOWN button works.
