Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

Problem found in Kubuntu 9.04.
CPU: Dual-core T2390
RAM: 2GB DDR-II
HD: 250GB SATA-II
Laptop model: Acer Aspire 2920Z

KDE takes several time in close since close session or shutdown button is pressed. This not only is annoying, this cause some problems, for instance, I have my laptop configured to suspend to RAM when lid is closed by Powerdevil. Then once I have pressed the KDE shutdown button, I close the lid after one or two seconds, I expected Kubuntu to continue shutdown process, but in place of that, Kubuntu suspend to RAM by having close the lid.
I think Powerdevil suspend settings should be broken once user has called shutdown or reboot process.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
