I have updated to Ubuntu 9.10.
I have never head any sound since installationAt each start-up on Kaffeine I get pop-up "Cant bind info socket" when I try to report bug I get "could not launch browser"  "Could not find service kfmclient"
When I first installed Kaffiene I got a quick pop up about missing codex!!!??? 
But that has not come up again since.
