Public bug reported:
Since there was a new release of Ubuntu, I thought I'd give Amarok
another try. It doesn't work, but the symptoms are different from
#120077.
Kubuntu Jaunty, clean install. Amarok 2.0.2, KDE 4.2.2.
DAAP share from Firefly/mt-daapd 0.9~r1696.dfsg-9, as provided with Ubuntu Jaunty.
DAAP share shows up correctly in the collection pane. I can open it, and
see the artists, and drill down to select an album or some tracks.
I double-click an album to add it to the playlist, then hit Play in
Amarok.
The console says:
demux_wavpack: (open_wv_file:127) open_wv_file: non-seekable inputs aren't supported yet.
QString::arg: Argument missing: Amarok - No track playing., 0:00

demux_wavpack: (open_wv_file:127) open_wv_file: non-seekable inputs aren't supported yet.

[etc etc]
No audio is played, the track names flash past, and Amarok goes back to
Stop mode.
