Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdegraphics
Capture mode: Region
Delay: No delay
Hit "take snapshot" and a text appears in the upper left of my screen
that instructs me to make a selection using the mouse, hit enter to take
the snapshot, or hit Esc to quit. I get a floating tooltip showing me
the size of the selection I'm making, but there is no visual indication
of where the selection box is.
In KSnapshot from KDE 4.2, the entire screen used to take a dark
translucent overlay, and my selection was an area of normal color
"shining through the mask." The mask is not present in this current
version, and no line is drawn around the selection box, so I have no
idea where it is. Unfortunately, this makes KSnapshot really useless at
the moment.
