Same problem here on Karmic; tried out installing kubuntu-desktop just
to give it a spin, but now my cursor is stuck as kubuntu's cursor. I
tried changing it in Appearance->Themes->Customize->Pointer. It appears
to change back to the normal cursor when the mouse is within an app like
firefox, but it goes back to the kubuntu cursor when the mouse is on the
desktop or over any GNOME widget.
