Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase-runtime
I've just noticed that my .xsession-errors grows unstoppably under
Kubuntu Karmic. Of course this file gets recreated upon a reboot but I
only do this occasionally and in any case, growth of of around 1GB/24
hours surely isn't desirable.
nepomukservicestub seems to be the main culprit with at least 80% of
xsession-errors' lines being attributed to it. There's three distinct
types of errors that results in tens of thousands of log messages each:
[/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub] "/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub(4982)" Error
in thread 140420159203600 : "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownObject -
No such object path '/org/soprano/Server/models/main'"
[/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub] "/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub(4982)" Error
in thread 140420159203600 : "Invalid iterator."
and
[/usr/bin/nepomukservicestub] Failed to add QUrl(
"file:///path/to/a/file" ) as text
with a dump of the referenced file following these messages.
Here's the two nepomuk related config file that I could find, of course
I'd happily provide any other information that might help debugging
this.
