Yes, I am using compositing. I think I know what you are referring to
concerning the icon corruption, as it also happened with regular KDE
icons in the past as well, especially if another icon went into the
tray. I know I haven't witnessed that issue in some time, and I know I
didn't witness it when using the GNOME NM Applet a few weeks back when
KNetworkManager was a mess.

In the mean time I will close this report as I can't reproduce it and
asked others on IRC to give it a shot without any luck either. If you
come across this again, please reopen this report and we can go from
there. I appreciate your time helping to triage this. Have a great day!
