Okey-dokey... I know what to do now :) Thanks!

Anyhooo... as of a complete update at 9:32pm BST, the UNR applet isnt
working, nor are the brightness function keys. Ho-hum....

Guess this shouldn't be under "KDE workspace" anymore... feel free to
move this somewhere more appropriate if you wish.

If it's any help, the UNR applet reports "Cannot get laptop panel
brightness"
