Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
My USB printer never shows up in the printer configuration dialog under
KDE's "system settings" and I can't print to my printer from any
application since it is not configured. lsusb shows the device exists.
This printer works fine with an Ubuntu live cd. I have this problem
with 2 USB printers that are detected fine in Ubuntu.
