Mine don't work when focused or when not focused, basically my media
keys go unused. I would say that having the global keys work when it's
not focused is ideal because I rarely have my amarok up and on the
front, instead it runs in the background, I even have it set up to where
it auto goes to the 3rd side of my cube from compiz, so forcing me to go
to that side of the cube and focus on Amarok to use my media
keys...wouldn't work out very well. Thanks for the post, hopefully they
pick it up soon
