[Bug 450495] [NEW] quicklaunch applet doesn't work well with a verticle panel

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

When adding a quicklaunch applet to a vertical panel, the icons display
vertically and there's no option to change the orientation.  This was
possible in versions prior to the 4.2 desktop.
